A record-breaker throughout her career, Morgan Nix becomes just the second athlete in LeTourneau history to earn three Female Athlete of the Year honors.

From Cypress, Texas, Nix ended her playing career as a three-time ASC Libero of the Year award winner and three-time first team All-ASC honoree.

The standout libero was at it again in 2024 with 758 total digs and averaged 6.42 digs per set. She led the conference in both categories and ranked third in the nation in digs and fifth in digs per set. Nix set a program-record for digs in a three-set match with 32 in a win over McMurry and recorded at least 30 digs in a match six times. She had 42 digs in a four-set contest vs. Austin College.

Nix became the program's all-time leader in career digs during the year and ends her career with 2,220 digs. She holds the top three spots in the program's season records for digs and digs per set. Her 6.42 career digs per set is tops in both program and American Southwest Conference history.

“I can't convey enough how much she deserves everything that she has earned due to her determination, work ethic, and leadership,” said head coach Alison Williams. “Morgan has paved the way for other future athletes to dream bigger and her impact on LeTourneau volleyball can not be understated. The ripples she started will flow through this program for many years to come.”

She was a six-time ASC Defensive Player of the Week honoree this season and earned the award 11 times in her career. Nix was also named to the ASC All-Tournament team.
