LeTourneau junior second baseman Megan Hill (San Antonio, Texas/Smithson Valley HS) of the LETU softball team was named second team all-American Southwest Conference on Monday. She led LETU in batting average (.383), slugging percentage (.658), on-base percentage (.483), runs scored (23), hits (46), doubles (12), triples (3) and shared with Benson the team lead in RBI (22). Last week, she led the YellowJackets to the semifinals of the ASC Softball Championship Tournament for the first time in program history. At the tournament, she hit .421 in four games for the YellowJackets including five RBI and two home runs. Plus, she shared the team lead with eight hits and scored twice.
