Justin Jenkins of the baseball team was named Third Team All-West Region by D3Baseball.com. The senior from Hallsville was second team all-ASC in 2015 after leading LETU back to the American Southwest Conference Tournament for a second-straight year. He led LeTourneau with a 6-3 mark, 1.33 ERA in 14 appearances, including seven complete games and 91 strikeouts over 101.1 innings pitched. For his career, in two seasons, Jenkins made 29 career appearances with a 14-7 all-time mark. Jenkins made his way into the LETU record book with 12 complete games which ranks sixth all-time and 142 strikeouts, which ranks eighth in program history.

Jenkins marks the third-straight year that a LETU pitcher has earned all-region honors by D3baseball.com. In 2014, Cody Whitley was named to the Third Team and in 2013, Curt Copeland picked up Third Team honors.Â
