Taber Miyauchi, a junior member of the LETU men’s cross country team from Grand Lake, Colo., won the University of Dallas Invite, last week en route to being named the Co-American Southwest Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Miyauchi covered the 5k course in a personal-best time of 16:17.97 for an 11-second victory over his closest competitor. It is the first individual win for Miyauchi in his career at LeTourneau. Miyauchi is the first winner in program history to win it multiple times in a season since Peter Martin won the honor on three occasions in 2012.
