Giovanny Thompson, a senior on the LETU men’s basketball team, had back-to-back double-doubles in last week's two games. Against Millsaps, Thompson had 10 points and 13 rebounds in the win over the Majors. He followed that up with a 13 point, 15 rebound effort in the loss to Texas College. The three-straight, double-double performances by Thompson are the first by a LETU player since Justin Jones had three in a row – Jan. 18 vs. Howard Payne; Jan. 23 vs. Louisiana College and Jan. 25 vs. Mississippi College.
