Crystal Jones (Junior, Women’s Basketball, Guard) scored a season-high 32 points in the win over McMurry. The 32 points are the most by a LETU player since a 36-point effort by Sara Vestfals on Jan. 16, 2003. She also had six assists and four steals in the win over the War Hawks. Jones followed that up with a nine-point, three-rebound effort against Hardin-Simmons in a LETU victory. The efforts earned her weekly recognition from the American Southwest Conference, where she was named the ASC East Division Player of the Week.
