Crystal Jones of the LeTourneau University women’s basketball team averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 1.0 blocks a game to lead the YellowJackets back to the American Southwest Conference Tournament for the third time in program history. Jones had 31 points in the win over UT Dallas (Feb. 18) for her fourth 30-point game of the season to go along with four steals. She is the first player in program history to have 30 points or more in four games in a season. Jones hit six 3-pointers in the win over the Comets and for the third time on the season. She followed that up with a 24 point, nine rebound, four steal effort in the win over Ozarks. The nine rebounds tied a season-high for the Fort Worth native.
