LeTourneau University senior pitcher Kayla Cosby (Lindale, Texas / East Texas Baptist) of the softball team pitched a pair of shutouts to lead the LETU softball team into the ASC Tournament. Cosby recorded a shutout on Friday in the series opener and closed out the home portion of her career with another shutout in Saturday's series finale. Not one of the hits she allowed was an extra-base hit and she held Howard Payne to a .212 batting average in two complete games. In 14 innings over two games Cosby recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed just 11 hits.
