Junior Sam Talbert dropped 19 points in a season opening win over Austin College on Tuesday. He followed that with a career high 24-point performance in an exhibition game with Division I Northwestern State on Friday afternoon. Talbert also scored 10 points in a loss to Texas College on Saturday.
