Senior forward Julencia Curtis of the women's basketball team was a key factor in the 2-1 start for the YellowJackets and is the lone YellowJacket to score in double digits twice this season. She was a force on the inside, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking four shots in the season opener against University of Dallas. The 11 rebounds gave her a third double-digit rebound effort of her career. Making 54.5% of her shots from the field, Curtis had a solid all-around effort in the win over Hendrix, scoring 11 points, grabbing three rebounds, blocking two shots and coming up with two steals.
