Matthews had 43 kills in four matches this past week for the YellowJackets, helping LeTourneau to a three-set win over Sul Ross State with 12 kills at the ASC Crossover Tournament in Abilene. The freshman from Splendora, Texas hit .257 for the week while averaging 3.31 kills per set.
