In her first-ever collegiate track meet, Jones recorded the eighth-best mark in the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region in the long jump with a mark of 5.00 meters (16 ft. - 5 in.) Jones also ran in the 55 meter dash, finishing with a time of 8.11 seconds.
