Trombley broke onto the scene in her season debut for the LETU softball team, collecting a pinch-hit double in a 5-3 loss to Schreiner University before getting the start in game two of the doubleheader. The Tyler, Texas native made the most of her opportunity, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and driving in another run while and scoring once. For the week, Trombley collected three extra-base hits and had a 1.500 slugging percentage.
