Farris would go 2-1 overall at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles last week, picking up a pair of wins in both dual matches against NCAA Division III competition. Overall, the YellowJackets would go 1-1 in Saturday's doubleheader as Farris defeated Howard Payne's top competitor 6-4, 6-0 before teaming with Jimmie Henson to win 8-1 in doubles. Against Austin College, Farris won 1-6, 6-2, 10-8 in singles and 9-8 (7-4) to claim doubles.
