Segura was named ASC Women's Track and Field Athlete of the week after setting a school-record in the 800 meters by turning in a 10th-place performance at the East Texas Invitational. Her time of 2:30.05 currently ranks seventh in the ASC and her 10th-place finish was the top finish in the event from a non-NCAA Division II athlete.
