West was the leading scorer for the YellowJackets in a pair of games on opening weekend of ASC play as LETU split a pair of games with Concordia Texas and UMHB. After pouring in 27 points and collecting six rebounds in an 87-82 defeat to the Tornadoes, the Houston, Texas native flirted with a triple-double by finishing with 28 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. For the season, West is averaging 23.6 points per game which currently ranks 25th among all NCAA Division III players.
