Thorne turned the corner on the season to help the YellowJackets split a pair of ASC games which included a 79-75 overtime victory over McMurry in their last game out. In the two contests, Thorne had no fewer than 14 points in either game while collecting eight rebounds in both games. A career day saw the junior play 43 minutes in an overtime win against McMurry, leading all scorers with a career-high 25 points which included 17 points in the first half.
