LeTourneau University Athletics

Laird Beaty won two of three singles matches as the LeTourneau men's tennis team improved to 10-3. The sophomore from Lindale won a pair of matches at No. 2 singles over opponents from Texas Lutheran (6-3, 6-2) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (6-0, 6-3). He wrapped up the weekend with a loss at No. 1 singles to his opponent from Southwestern University which snapped a seven-game winning streak. He teamed up with fellow Lindale native Kendall Beggs, where they also posted a 2-1 mark.
