LeTourneau infielder Garrett Methvin hit a team-best .455 as the YellowJackets won the weekend series against Mary Hardin-Baylor. Methvin and sophomore Dillon Yates each had five hits to lead a LeTourneau offense that hit .300 on the weekend. In addition, Methvin posted a team-best .545 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage. Methvin went 3-for-4 with a run scored two RBI in the series opener Friday night. Plus he had an RBI single in game one Saturday. Methvin scored twice in game two as he was hit by a pitch and had a single as the YellowJackets clinched the series with a 9-5 win.
