Sophomore Stephanie Vana scored a hat trick to lead the LeTourneau University women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Centenary College in its season opener at the LETU Soccer Complex on Friday (Aug. 29).

Vana became the first player since Kirby Posey on October 4, 2008 to score three goals in a game for the YellowJackets. The La Verne, California native scored each of her goals from different parts of the field to cause havoc for a collapsing Centenary defense.
