Giovanny Thompson had his best two games as a YellowJacket, last week in leading LeTourneau to wins over UT Tyler and Ozarks. He started the week with a 16 point, nine rebound effort in the double overtime win over UT Tyler. He followed that up with a 22 point, 16 rebound and five blocked shot effort against Ozarks. It was new career highs in points, rebounds and blocked shots for the junior from Spring City. The five blocked shots were the most by a LETU player since the 2013-14 season opener against Hendrix on November 22, 2013. The 16 rebounds were the most by a LETU player since now student assistant Justin Jones had 17 against LC on February 2, 2013.Â
