Kate Bell-Keierleber

Kate Bell-Keierleber enters her fifth season as the head softball coach at LeTourneau University.

In three years, Bell-Keierleber became the program’s all-time wins leader. Over the course of the last four years, the YellowJackets have earned 24 all-ASC accolades and only the second player in program history to earn all-region honors. In 2014, LETU made their first-ever American Southwest Conference Tournament appearance.

Along with on the field success, her program has set high standards with 28 being named to the ASC All-Academic Team including Jourdan Glover, who in 2014 was named a Distinguished Senior Award by the University, which is awarded to only five graduating students, each year.

Bell and the YellowJackets have taken an active role in community engagement. During the 2015 season, the LETU softball team held its inaugural Fallen Heroes Day, Heart Day, Down Syndrome Awareness and a LETU Faculty/Staff game.

Prior to stepping into the head coach's role, Bell-Keierleber served as LeTourneau's top assistant coach during the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

The Forney, Texas native as a player was named to the 2008 All-American Southwest Conference East Division and to the conference all-tournament team. Bell-Keierleber's accomplishments continued into her senior year with first team all-ASC and honorable mention all-region honors as a senior as UT-Tyler advanced to the NCAA Division III College World Series and finished fifth in the country.
 
Prior to her final two collegiate years at UT-Tyler, Bell spent two seasons at Hardin-Simmons where she was named All-ASC West Division, All-ASC All-Tournament Team catcher, All-NFCA All-Region and All-American, Team Defensive MVP and Team Leadership. 

Bell-Keierleber is married to Eric Keierleber, they have two children, Cole and Case.
