Cameron Skief commits to play basketball at LETU

LONGVIEW – LeTourneau University men's basketball coach Bob Davis announced Thursday the commitment of Cameron Skief.
 
Skief, who played at All Saints Episcopal School, was named Tapps 3A First-Team All-State, TABC Private School All-State, First Team All District (back-to-back seasons) and Third-Team All-East Texas. He currently holds the school record for blocks in a game with eight. Skief also averaged 16 points per game and holds a school record for average blocks in a season.
 
He earned numerous honors after the 2009-10 season, including attending Azalea Orthopedics All-Star Game. Skief was named to the Brentwood and Bruce G. Brookshire All-Tournament Teams. He was named Most Athletic.
 
Skief joins Kendrae Carter, Nick La Mastra, Jacob McCarthy and Karsten Winegeart who have committed to play men's basketball at LeTourneau.
