Kennedy Keer equalized in the 78
th minute in the season finale for the LeTourneau University women's soccer team, who ended the season with a 1-1 tie with McMurry University.
The YellowJackets (5-9-3) were trailing 1-0 until sophomore
Raylene Gould sent in a corner kick to a scramble inside the box in the 78
th minute. Emerging away from the scramble was the strong foot of Keer, who hammered one to the lower left corner, catching off guard the McM goalkeeper and defense to tie the contest.
McMurry (6-5-1) went ahead in the 35
th minute when Holiday Williams scored her ninth goal of the season.
LeTourneau had a pair of scoring chances in the contest waived off due to being ruled offsides and an opportunity by sophomore
Stephanie Vana hit the crossbar in the 67
th minute.
