LeTourneau women's soccer dropped a road matchup with UMHB 3-1 on Friday night in Belton, Texas.

The Crusaders came into the game with a 9-3-1 record and 6-1 in conference play which had them in third place in the ASC standings.

UMHB would strike first as they scored in the 20
th minute on a goal from Caitlyn Shaughnessy. The Cru added another goal before halftime and would go into the break with a 2-0 lead.

Shaughnessey would find the net again early in the second half to push the lead to 3-0 in the 53
rd minute.

The YellowJackets (6-7-1, 2-5-1 ASC) would get on the board just five minutes later as junior
Kennedy Keer was able to put the ball passed the Crusader goalkeeper.
Carrye Funk recorded a career high 11 saves in the game.

LeTourneau will be back on the field tomorrow as they take on Concordia University Texas at 5 PM in Austin.
