LeTourneau softball dropped a pair of games to Sul Ross State on Friday night as they made the long trek to Alpine, Texas. The YellowJackets led for most of series opener but a 2-run fifth inning for the Lobos would be the difference as SRSU took the 2-1 victory.

In similar fashion LeTourneau (11-19, 6-17 ASC) led game two until the final half inning before the Lobos scored three runs to take the comeback win.

Whitney Judd went 3-for-3 at the plate in game two and scored two runs to lead the YellowJacket offense.

Ashlin Roach had a sacrifice RBI in the first inning of both games as she got LeTourneau on the board early.

Trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh Sul Ross rallied with three runs and earned a game two win, their 13
th of the season.

LeTourneau will look to steal the series finale on Saturday with the first pitch scheduled for 12 p.m.
