The LeTourneau University Athletic Department is catching up with YellowJacket alumni to see "Where Are They Now" after finishing their LETU Athletic Careers. Every two weeks, a new student-athlete alumnus will be featured, so be sure to check back often to read about what the YellowJackets of the past have been up to.

Next up in our series of "Where Are They Now" is former LeTourneau University cross country/basketball student-athlete Heidi "Sanders" McGraner. Heidi was a two-sport standout for the YellowJackets, serving as the top individual finisher for the YellowJackets at the 2004 and 2005 ASC Championships by finishing sixth in 2004 and ASC runner-up in 2005. McGraner then went on to become the first LETU women's cross country runner to run in the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional, finishing 51st overall in the 6K race. On the basketball court for the YellowJackets, Heidi would appear in 96 games over her four-year career and score 515 points while also finishing with 253 rebounds, 80 assists, and 65 steals.

Graduating in 2007 with a degree in kinesiology  and exercise science, Mcgraner would go on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2009 from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and is currently working as a certified Phycisian Assistant in Family Medicine in Sugar Land, TX. 

McGraner is married to former LeTourneau University men's basketball student-athlete Daniel McGraner and live in Richmond, Texas with their three sons (ages 9, 6, and 2). Daniel is currently a middle school teacher and assistant coach at Sugar Grove Christian School in Stafford, Texas.
