LONGVIEW – LeTourneau pitched its third shutout of the year in Saturday's 3-0 women's soccer win over Louisiana College.
Three different YellowJackets scored as LeTourneau notched its first American Southwest Conference victory of the season. LETU moved to 2-4-1 overall, 1-1-0 in the ASC.
It was LeTourneau's second straight shutout at home.
Robin Evanyk scored on an assist from
Ali Saldana, who, along with
Jennifer Martin were honored on Senior Day. Evanyk's goal in the 28
th minute was her first as a YellowJacket. It gave the Jackets a 1-0 lead.
Kara Gipson made it 2-0 when she found the back of the net in the 32
nd minute.
Reagan Sandford's fourth goal of the year came in the 40
th minute to give the Jackets a three-goal lead at the intermission.

Kelsy Traylor needed to pick up her first career win between the posts. She stopped two shots.
LeTourneau outshot Louisiana College, 11-0, in the first half. The Jackets put seven of their 14 shots on goal in the game.
LETU will host the University of Texas at Dallas 5 p.m. Wednesday.
