Anthony Ybarra each recorded two hits in LETU's loss against Howard Payne at Conrad-Vernon Field Friday.
With the 8-4 result, the YellowJackets dropped to 6-17 on the season, including 3-13 in American Southwest Conference play, while HPU moved to 7-14, 2-11.

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 2-0 lead after a half inning but an RBI single from McKinley and a groundout by
Garrett Irwin in the second knotted the game.
McKinley scored on a wild pitch in the fourth, answering Howard Payne's tally in the top of the frame.
HPU pulled away with a solo run in the sixth, two in the seventh and ninth innings. Wood notched the YellowJackets final tally when he crossed the plate on a Jones groundout.
The two teams conclude the series at with a doubleheader Saturday, with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
