The Jackets played stingy defense throughout the game, holding Centenary scoreless the rest of the way. LETU recorded what was the game winning run in the bottom of the fifth after
Kylie Grisham singled down the left line to send the lightning fast
Emilee Anderson in for a score.
Hailee Leger went the distance in the circle for the win with four strikeouts.

Alysa Torres,
Preslie Turney,
Mickenzie Murry, and
Macy Clevenger each had one hit in game one.
LETU jumped all over Centenary in the beginning of the final game of the day, recording two runs in the bottom of the first. After a bunt from Grisham for an RBI and a throwing error by the Ladies, sending Tannery and Banks in for the two runs, giving LETU a 2-0 lead going into the second inning.
Taking advantage of a Centenary throwing error, the YellowJackets would go on to extend its lead to three runs in the bottom of the third.
The Ladies got on board for its first score in the top half of the fourth, but LeTourneau scratched that run when they scored in the bottom of the fifth. Torres accounted for the score, collecting an RBI after a sacrifice fly out to center field, advancing Tannery in for a run.
After a scoreless sixth inning, Centenary stormed back in a major way, tallying a whopping 10 runs in the top half of the decisive inning. The rally by the Ladies was too much for the Jackets as it fell in the bottom half in three straight outs.
