RICHARDSON, Texas – LETU women's tennis fell in the American Southwest Conference quarterfinal match Thursday to Concordia, 6-2.
The Tornados tallied the first point of the match with a win at line three, but
Madison Morris and
Megan LeBlanc knotted the game at one all after taking down Isabella Wiik and Kaitlin Stevens, 8-5, at the top doubles flight.
Concordia took the final point in doubles at No. 2, taking a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
In singles action, LeBlanc totaled the lone YellowJacket point when she captured a win in the third position, defeating Claire Austin, 6-4, 6-3. Morris was leading 5-4 in the second set at No. 2 before the match was ended due to CTX securing the win.
LETU finished 4-14 overall and 2-3 in the ASC.
