JACKSON, Miss. -- A five-run ninth inning erased a four-run deficit and the LeTourneau baseball team completed a comeback win, 5-4, at Millsaps on Tuesday afternoon in Jackson.
The game was a make-up from Feb. 10.
LeTourneau (15-22) trailed 7-3 entering the ninth inning, but scored five times to earn the comeback victory.
The YellowJackets had just two hits in the big inning, but made the most of their opportunities.
Jaggar Vaughn walked to open the frame and advanced to third on consecutive wild pitches before
Kevin Soto plated him on an infield single to make it 7-4.

Ethan Wood walk followed by a hit-by-pitch to
Blake Vice loaded the bases for the YellowJackets. Another wild pitch scored Soto and pinch-hitter
Devin Greaff produced an RBI infield single to draw LeTourneau within 7-6. Consecutive sacrifice flies from
Zach Zarko and
Dane Jones capped the five-run frame.
Dylan Cortes notched his second save of the year with a perfect ninth inning as he struck out all three Millsaps hitters.
LeTourneau used eight pitchers in the final midweek game of the season.
Riley Davis went two innings and allowed just two unearned runs.
Lane Holman,
Calvin Lopez,
Zac Schneider, and Cortes all had scoreless outings.
Schneider (1-2) picked up the win as he went two innings.
Soto was 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs, while Zarko went 2-for-5.Â
Carter Amarantos had an RBI single in the second and Soto tallied an RBI single in the fifth that scored Jones before
Xander Nabors scampered home on an error.
Grant Berry had three hits for Millsaps (14-25).Â
SCHEDULE CHANGE
LeTourneau's series with UT Dallas this weekend has been altered due to weather. The YellowJackets and Comets will play a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 12 p.m. in Richardson. Game three is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday in Richardson.
