LeTourneau ends the year 10-9 overall.
In the quarterfinal round, LeTourneau picked up its first ASC Tournament win and knocked off Concordia Texas for the first time in 12 tries in a 5-3 upset win.
The YellowJackets notched victories at the top two flights in doubles to grab a 2-1 match lead.
Megan LeBlanc and
Grace Rogers defeated Concordia's Kayla Pena and Isabella Cepeda by an 8-5 final at the No. 1 flight. At No. 2,
Isa Casso and
Brandy Weems took down Emily Pullen and Kaitlin Stevens, 8-4.
Casso took a singles win over Trinity Klamecki, 7-6(5), 6-4 at the No. 3 spot, while
Elizabeth Moreau earned a three-set win over Natalia Goodman 6-1, 0-6, 6-0.
Up 4-3 in the match, both of the final singles matches left went into third sets. At the No. 2 flight, Rogers battled back from a first-set loss to defeat Cepeda 2-6, 7-5, 7-5 to clinch the victory for the YellowJackets.
The win also avenged a 9-0 regular season loss LeTourneau took at Concordia in February.Â
With inclement weather expected on Friday, the semifinal round was moved up to Thursday evening as LeTourneau took on No. 1 West seed UT Dallas.
The Comets took all three doubles matches and the first two completed singles matches to secure the 5-0 win. UT Dallas moves on to the championship round to face either No. 2 East seed East Texas Baptist or No. 1 West seed Mary Hardin-Baylor.
