Women's Tennis Honors Three on Senior Day

LONGVIEW, Texas -- The LeTourneau women's tennis team honored its three graduating seniors before the match on Saturday and then fell to UT Dallas, 7-0, at the Davis Tennis Complex.

LeTourneau (5-10) honored Emma Boulanger, Elizabeth Moreau, and Isa Casso for their years of dedication to the program. Boulanger is a four-year player, while Moreau is completing her degree in three years and Casso in two years. All three have played pivotal roles for the program throughout their careers.

Facing a strong UT Dallas team, LeTourneau hung tough in doubles play before dropping the point. Casso and Moreau fell 6-4 to Megan Zeng and Reika Nagai at the top spot. Boulanger and Maddie Nichol fell 6-2 to Elsha Valluru and Jhastine Ballado at No. 2, while Kylie Weeks and Chloe Tesser were defeated, 6-1, at No. 3 by Chloe O'Connor and Kendall Curley.

Casso battled Nagai at the top flight in singles before falling 7-5, 6-4. Boulanger fell to Valluru at No. 3 by a 6-2, 6-3 final, while Moreau dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision to Zeng at No. 2.

Weeks fell to O'Connor 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 and Tesser dropped her match by the same scores at No. 6 against Ballado. Nichol fell to Curley 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4.

The match was the final regular season home contest for LeTourneau as the YellowJackets finish the final three regular season matches on the road.
