SHERMAN, Texas/IRVING, Texas -- The LeTourneau men's tennis team continued its hot start to the 2026 season with two SCAC victories over the weekend. LeTourneau defeated Austin College, 7-0, on Friday before taking down Dallas, 6-1, on Saturday.

LeTourneau (3-0, 2-0 SCAC) is 3-0 to start the season for a third time in the last four seasons.

On Friday, LeTourneau received contributions from its entire lineup in the shutout victory.

Zach Farris and Timothy Black held down the top flight in doubles with a 6-4 win over Austin's Cameron McIver and Timothy Wallace. Andrew Reiman and Fernando Vazquez were 6-0 winners over Wyatt Fischer and Patrick Fenner at the No. 2 flight, while Hayden Harry and Diego Maldonado won 6-2 over Jace Warren and Cruz Rocha at No. 3.

Reiman played at the top flight in singles and won 6-2, 6-3 over McIver, while Farris was a 6-0, 6-1 winner of Fischer at the No. 2 flight. Vazquez earned a straight-set win over Fenner at No. 3.

Maldonado won 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 4 flight. Black took a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Warner at No. 5 and Harry rounded out the lineup with his 6-2, 6-1 win over Rocha at No. 6.

It was more of the same on Saturday in a 6-1 win over Dallas. 

Reiman and Vazquez were again victorious, this time at the No. 1 spot in doubles, with a 6-3 win over Christian DeLira and Cayven Yi. Black and Farris easily dispatched Aidan Nguyen and Gordon Huckestein, 6-0, at the No. 2 spot and Maldonado and Harry won 6-2 over Gabriel Alfaro and Wheeler Ehrlich at No. 3.

Reiman won 6-2, 6-1 over Nguyen at the No. 1 flight in singles, while Vazquez won 6-1, 6-2 over DeLira at No. 2. Maldonado had to go three sets against Huckestein, but outlasted the Crusader with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory. 

Harry and Black completed the victory. Harry won 6-3, 6-1 over Yi at No. 5, while Black was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Ehrlich at No. 6.
