LONGVIEW, Texas --
Blake Goodridge tossed six shutout innings in the opener and the LeTourneau baseball bats came alive in the final innings of game one and carried that into game two as the YellowJackets swept a doubleheader from Millsaps on Saturday at Conrad-Vernon Field.
LeTourneau took game one, 7-0, and then claimed game two -- and the series -- with a 10-5 victory in the finale.
GAME ONE: LeTourneau 7, Millsaps 0
Goodridge went six shutout innings and collected nine strikeouts and LeTourneau used a six-run sixth inning to pull away in the first game, 7-0.
Goodridge (1-0) made his LeTourneau debut impressive as he went six innings and scattered just four hits while punching out nine Majors at the plate.Â
LeTourneau got on the board with a sacrifice fly from
Jonah McDaniel in the second inning to go ahead 1-0. In the sixth, the YellowJackets sent 10 batters to the plate and scored six runs on three hits.
Jake Morris and

John Montour (0-1) got the loss for Millsaps as he went five innings and allowed one unearned run with two strikeouts for Millsaps.
GAME TWO: LeTourneau 10, Millsaps 5
McDaniel and

Seth Hudson all had two hits each for LeTourneau. McDaniel tied the game at 2-2 in the first inning with his RBI double after
