COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The LeTourneau women's tennis team could not keep pace with St. Thomas in a 6-1 loss on Friday night inside Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.
LeTourneau dropped to 7-6 on the year and 4-3 in league play. St. Thomas moved up to 5-3 overall and 5-1 in SCAC matches.

Chloe Tesser and
Kylie Weeks challenged the top St. Thomas duo of Mariel Herrera and Marlie McArthur before falling 6-3 at No. 1.Â
Tesser took the lone point for the YellowJackets. She earned a three-set win over Nataly Velasco at the No. 3 flight 5-7, 7-5, 10-7.
Weeks also had her singles match go three sets, but she was outlasted by Ella Mullins 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 at the top flight.
Maddie Nichol fell 6-4, 6-1 to Herrera at No. 2, while
Anaiah Smith was defeated by Adrana Iturralde 6-2, 7-5 at the No. 4 spot.Â
