Biography

2016 (as a junior): Matulis was named honorable mention after her junior campaign as she played in 37 games, hitting at a .308 clip for the YellowJackets. She led the team in stolen bases (11), fourth in runs scored (18). fifth in on-base percentage (.345) and hits (33).  Additionally, she recorded a .345 on base percentage. As a pitcher, Matulis had an ERA of 4.40 in 47 innings only allowing 27 runs. 

2015 (as a sophomore): Split time between pitcher and outfield...played in 38 games...hit .294 with 32 hits including nine multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games...stole 11 bases...went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI in the win over Sul Ross State (Apr. 20)...made 20 appearances as a pitcher with a 7-8 mark and 4.47 ERA, 44 strikeouts, plus seven complete games...struck out five on a pair of occasions.

2014 (as a freshman): Played in 41 games, starting 40...split time between first base and pitcher with the occasional appearance in the outfield...second on the team in stolen bases (12)...third with nine multi-hit games...tied for third in runs scored (17)...fourth in hits (34) and walks (10)...tied for fourth in RBI (11)...fifth in batting average (.304), slugging percentage (.339), on-base percentage (.371)...as a pitcher, posted a 1-7 record with a 4.29 ERA in 63 innings pitched and 18 strikeouts in 20 appearances (7 starts)...scored a run in eight of her first nine games at LeTourneau...went 2-for-3 with two runs scored to begin the season at Centenary (Feb. 8)...struck out a season-high three against Ozarks (Feb. 22) in a 9-0 shutout...pitched a season-high six innings against UT Tyler (Mar. 29).
