Biography

2016: In 119 at bats, Jacobs recorded a .294 batting average. He had 20 RBIs including 3 homeruns in the 2016 season. Jacobs led the team in on base percentage with an average of .427. In the field, Jacobs posted a fielding percentage of .978. For his efforts in the classroom, he was named to the ASC Academic Honor Roll.

2015: Played and started 33 games for the YellowJackets...had 25 hits including seven multi-hit games...on a pair of occasions, he had a three-hit game against Louisiana College (Feb. 21) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (May 6)...drove in a pair of runs in games against Louisiana College (Feb. 21) and Castleton (Feb. 17)...reached base in seven-consecutive games during the season.

2014: Shared the team lead with Garrett Methvin with four home runs...had 10 multi-hit games...reached base in 13-straight games...scored three times in a win over Hardin-Simmons (Mar. 7)...drove in a season-best four runs in a win over ETBU (Mar. 15)...posted two triples on the season.

Prior to LeTourneau: A four-year letterwinner at Rouse High School...hit at a .364 clip as a senior...named first team all-district, twice, as a freshman and as a senior...selected as team's Offensive MVP as a senior...picked to the Austin-area High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game as a senior...a four-time academic all-district selection...named team's Defensive MVP as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Holly and Scott Jacobs...a mechanical engineering major.
