Biography

2018-19: Appeared in 37 games with 35 starts... Had a team-high .421 batting average with 45 hits in 107 at bats... Recorded two doubles, two triples and a team-best 10 home runs for an .813 slugging percentage... Added 35 RBI and 38 total runs scored while also leading the team in stolen bases (16)... Had a .984 fielding percentage with 111 putouts... 2019 ASC Championship All-Tournament Team selection... First-team All-ASC selection and named LETU Co-Women Athlete of the Year...

2017-18: Named Third-Team All-ASC as an At-Large Selection...Appeared in and started 37 games...Led LETU with a .379 batting average, 44 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, and 25 RBI...Also had five home runs and scored 28 runs...

2016 (as a freshman):  Mize played in 36 games in her freshman season hitting .292 and finishing second in slugging percentage (.521), tied for third in RBI (18), tied for third in doubles (10) and tied for second in home runs (4). Additionally, Mize posted an on base percentage of .305 and a fielding percentage of .889.

Prior to LeTourneau: A two-year letter winner at Waco Midway High School...as a senior, she hit .295 with three home runs and 22 RBI...threw out eight base runners...named first team all-district...named Academic All-District and All-State...as a junior, she hit .425 with a home run and 15 RBIs...selected honorable mention all-district...inducted into the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Carol Jo Mize...an elementary education major.
