Pirate StadiumĀ
LeTourneau University's track and field program partnered with Pine Tree High School in 2019 to use the Pirate Stadium complex as its home facility. The partnership allows the YellowJackets to utilize the track and field complex as its home meet and practice venue.
Completed in 2013, Pirate Stadium seats 6,500 spectators, with overflow expansion capabilities that extend to 7,500 fans. The $15 million project features a

6,250 square foot fieldhouse, and has an adjacent field event facility, which includes two discus rings, two shot put rings, three long- and triple-jump runways, along with a pole vault runway -- all of which function in dual directions.Ā
Pirate Stadium features a polyurethane track and artificial turf safe play surface. The adjacent field event facility contains a natural grass field with pit areas and polyurethane runways.
Pirate Stadium's amenities include a 16- by 20-foot video board scoreboard, two concession stands inside the home side of the stadium's concourse level, where flat screen televisions allow spectators to watch events. The venue is equipped with a state-of-the-art press box on the stadium's third level. The press box is equipped with a working press room, event staff and scoreboard room, public address announcer booth, home and visitor coaching booths and the Pirate Den, a community room with a seating capacity of 25.
The YellowJackets hosted their first NCAA competition at Pirate Stadium Feb. 28, 2020.
