LeTourneau University uses the concussion testing platform Sway for all sports. All student-athletes are required to complete an annual baseline test prior to participating in any NCAA affiliated sport at LeTourneau University.
Instructions:
Participants will need to download the Sway app and tap the “Enter Code” button at the bottom of the login screen (code is provided by athletic trainer). Once the code has been entered, the user will be instructed to input their profile information. Next, the device will need to go through a hardware verification to ensure the sensors in the device are working properly for the test. Once complete, the test will begin and will take ~25 minutes to complete.
Testing Tips:
- Try to take the test first thing in the morning after a good night’s sleep.
- Make sure your environment is quiet with no distractions.
- Connect your phone to Wi-Fi & turn on airplane mode to prevent disruptions.
