Biography

2016: Named to the ASC Academic Honor Roll.

2015 (as a sophomore): Emerged as one of the top relievers in the LETU bullpen...posted a 1-1 record with a 3.00 in 12 innings pitched...held opponents to a .245 batting average...struck out 11 batters...tied for third on the team in appearances with 12...had three multi-strikeout games...nine of his 12 appearances were at least an inning each....surrendered just four extra-base hits on the season.

2014 (as a freshman): Tossed a season-high 4.2 innings of work against Castleton (Feb. 24), where he struck out three batters.

Prior to LeTourneau: A three-year letterwinner at Grace Community HIgh School...selected first team all-state and district MVP as a senior...picked up second team all-district laurels as a junior.

Personal: Son of Craig and Bonnie Klaassen...a professional flight major.
