2012: Appeared in four games as a freshman for the Jackets ... Compiled a 9.00 ERA and a 0-0 record in 6.0 innings pitched ... Best outing came on April 14th against Texas-Tyler where he pitched 1.0 innings while only allowing one hit.

Prior to LeTourneau: A two-sport athlete at nearby Spring Hill High School, where he earned letters in football as well as baseball...hit .297 as a senior...earned Academic All-State honors in football...a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Larry and Kelly Methvin...a kinesiology major with an emphasis in exercise science.
