Had a time of 18:57.8 in the 5,200 meters at the Rice Invitational (Sep. 12)... Set initial benchmark in the 8,000 meters at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (Oct. 17), running a 28:54.0
Prior to LeTourneau: Was homeschooled... State champion in the 800-meter event... Was part of a state runner-up team at the cross country state championships
Personal: Parents are J. Darren and Gina Ely... Grandfather, Dale Keen, ran cross country and track at Colorado State (1971-75) and uncle, Tyler Keen, ran cross country and track and UTSA (1998-02)... Favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:18... Majoring in professional flight
