2013-14 (as a sophomore): Named to the American Southwest Conference All-Academic Team...dropped a decision at No. 5 singles against Schreiner University (Feb. 14)...teamed up with Austin Haug to win at No. 3 doubles against Schreiner, 8-6.
2012-13 (as a freshman): Played No. 3 singles against Louisiana College (Apr. 20), where he was victorious in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 over Jacob Lopez...posted a doubles victory with Morgan Weaver at No. 3 doubles by an 8-0 margin against a LC duo.
Prior to LeTourneau: Lettered four years at Rockford High School...a two-year team captain ...played in multiple spots in the lineup including No. 2 and No. 3 doubles as well as No. 3 and No. 4 singles...ranked 10th out of 590 students in his high school class with a 4.44 GPA.
Personal: Son of Fred and Elise Smith...a mechanical engineering major.
