JUNIOR (2023-24): NCAA Outdoor Championships qualifier in the decathlon... All-ASC second team in the decathlon... USTFCCCA Outdoor All-West Region in the decathlon... Placed 21st overall at the NCAA Championships (May 22-24) with 5966 points... Was the top-ranked athlete in the decathlon in the West region during the season... Was the first LeTourneau athlete to qualify for the NCAA meet in the decathlon... Ranked 22nd in the nation in the event in the outdoor season as he posted a program-record mark of 6,421 points at the Carl Kight Invitational (April 11-13)... That mark was initially second in the nation and it stood inside the top 22 nationally through the rest of the spring to qualify Murphy for the NCAA Championships... Earned ASC Field Athlete of the Week honors following that program-record mark... Placed second in the decathlon at the ASC Championships (April 25-27) with 5949 points... Set a program indoor record in the high jump at 1.88 meters at the Washburn Open (Feb. 2-3)

SOPHOMORE (2022-23): Competed in three indoor meets and seven in the outdoor season... ASC Field Athlete of the Week on Feb. 7 after placing 10th in the heptathlon with 4,292 points at the Washburn Open... Had a distance of 11.37 meters, a season-best, in the shot put at the Washburn Open... Competed in three decathlons in the outdoor seasons... Placed third with a season-best total of 5,898 points at the ASC Championships... Had the top high jump mark of the year at 1.81 meters during the decathlon at the Bobcat Invitational

FRESHMAN (2021-22): Competed in four indoor meets... Competed in six outdoor meets... Finished fourth in the decathlon at the ASC Championship meet with 5,317 points... Had a season-best outdoor 400-meter time of 55.79 at the Earl Milner Invitational... Placed fourth with an indoor personal record of 9.24 in the 55-meter hurdles at the McNeese State Indoor and Multi
