ALL-ASC EAST HONORABLE MENTION (2012)

2012: Named All-ASC East Honorable Mention ... Appeared in 39 games while making the start in 36 in her freshman season ... Compiled a .245 average including seven doubles, five home runs which was second on the team, and 23 RBIs which was also second on the team ... Also led the team with nine sacrifice hits ... Hit her first career home run, a three run bomb, on March 2nd against Texas Lutheran ... Went for three RBIs in two more games including March 13th against Greenville and April 18th against Mississippi College where she had her first career three hit game, going 3-for-4 ... Hit her first double on March 3rd against Sul Ross St. ... Had four multi-hit games on the season.

PREP: Was a two-year letterwinner at Hallsville High School ... Batted .384 and recorded a .522 on-base percentage and a .629 slugging percentage during her two varsity seasons ... Hit five home runs, 10 triples, 46 doubles and 83 RBIs ... Helped lead Hallsville to the Class 4A area semifinals in 2010 and 2011 ... Also lettered in cross country ... Participated in her school's chapter of the National Honor Society during her three of her four years of high school ... Graduated with a 4.95 GPA and was the recipient of her school's Outstanding Student Award.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Deanna and Kevin Greene ... Has a younger sister, Savannah ... Enjoys running, hanging out with friends, horseback riding, four-wheeler riding, hunting and fishing ... Says her biggest thrill as a softball player is any time that she gets a hit that helps her team win close games ... Is majoring in mathematics education.
