Miguel Cabrera

Miguel Cabrera returns to assist with the LeTourneau women's soccer program as a goalkeeper coach in 2025.

He spent three seasons in a similar role with the program from 2018-20

In 2019, he was part of a staff that went 9-8-1 overall, 5-5-1 in the American Southwest Conference. The YellowJackets qualified for the ASC Championship Tournament. LETU's goalkeepers combined for six shutouts, including a double-overtime scoreless tie at UT Dallas. 

In his first season working with the goalkeepers in 2018, the YellowJackets set a program-record for wins, going 11-6-2 overall and advanced to the ASC Tournament semifinals. LeTourneau posted six shutouts, including three in a row to begin the season.

Cabrera started 16 matches in goal for LeTourneau's men's soccer team in 2017, compiling a 1.58 goals against average, 80 saves, a .748 saves percentage and two shutouts, while facing 249 shots in 1540:18 minutes. In 2015, he earned honorable mention All-ASC honors, following a season in which he had a 1.53 GAA, 101 saves, .795 saves percentage and three shutouts in 17 games. In 2014, he was a first team All-ASC selection after recording a 1.39 GAA with 106 saves, .869 saves percentage and two shutouts in 11 games.

He finished his three-year LeTourneau career tied for third in shutouts with seven, fifth in saves with 287, and tied for eighth in wins with 10.

Prior to LeTourneau, he played at Dodge City Community College, where he recorded three shutouts in four games. 

Cabrera earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from LeTourneau.
