LeTourneau University Athletics

Alejandro "Alex" Barrero enters his second year as a graduate assistant coach with the LeTourneau tennis programs in 2025-26.

A four-year player for the YellowJackets, Barrero concluded his playing career in 2024. He was a four-time ASC Academic All-Conference selection and earned a pair of ITA Scholar-Athlete honors during his career. 

Barrero earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from LeTourneau in 2024. He is pursuing a master's in engineering.
